You can be a very powerful damage dealer with this combination. I personally would go with earth magics, because they can firstly buff your weak armor and secondly deal a lot of damage at melee range (aftershock may be the most damaging spell in the game, if you can get people knocked down around you). The wards are also very useful, especially if your goal is to stay back and use ranged elemental attacks while protecting the casters.
Good arguments could be made for any of the other magics though, I'm sure, though I'd counsel against fire due to the long casts being difficult to get off at melee range.

E/Wa in general make some kind if "burning wall" with defensive earth magic and maybe some fast close range fire magic.
Its a death trap for Warriors and Necros that dont know when its time to run away.
Bur after youre burned out youre meat for Mesmers and Rangers.
Water and air magic does not fit that well to a secondary warrior, but that depends, it makes a good defensive unit in the background.

Yeah i pritty much use earth as a defence and bonnettis stance to get energy up, working very well at mo and can hold out along time from severe punishment
